There are two types of Multimedia,
  • Documents
  • Images
If you choose documents will allow you to upload whatever type of files If you choose images will allow you to upload only images (png, jpg) Max number files: You can set the max number of files allowed to upload in that control Max file size: You can set the max file size allowed to upload, if you don’t set any value the default will be 2MB Upload Button text: You can set the title of the action to upload files Access: Controls whether files uploaded through this field are public (direct, non-expiring URL) or private (only viewable through a short-lived signed URL). Options:
  • Inherit from app (Default): Follows the application’s general multimedia access switch. If the app is public, files from this field are public; if the app is private, they’re private too.
  • Private: Files are always uploaded to an isolated, private container for this field, no matter what the app’s switch is set to.
  • Public: Files from this field are uploaded as public — unless the application is set to private, in which case they stay private too, unless the app owner has explicitly enabled the “allow public override” setting for the application. This prevents a private app from being accidentally exposed by a single field’s configuration.
This setting only affects new uploads through this field; it doesn’t change files already uploaded. The application-level switch and the “allow public override” setting are configured for the whole application, not per field — see your application settings.

Preview Mode

When you have a multimedia field configured as Documents, you have two ways of previewing the documents
  • Modal (Default): Allows rendering the document preview in a modal.
  • Inline: Allows rendering the document preview below the field on the same page.
